FEMA provides an excellent overview of what to look for in detecting a cyberattack; how pervasive it is; and an overview of what to do BEFORE, DURING and AFTER an attack. The very best part of this overview are the many links that it provides to Department’s that may need notification of an attack. Having this on hand to refer to would be a good thing. Hopefully you will never need to use it, but the likelihood is far greater that you will. Lining up a professional who can help you navigate through many of the preventative measures mentioned here would be a very good investment of your time and money considering the work involved should you be attacked. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
