Every workplace must be OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliant. Created in 1971, OSHA was created to protect workers on the job from injury and death. Well stocked first aid kits; multi-class fire extinguishers; clearly marked exits; the provision of protective gear if necessary; clearly marked chemicals that are properly stored; safety procedures and policies visibly posted; incidents reported; and safety training when deemed necessary for safety are all mandates of OSHA.
