Of homegrown terrorism in the US, white supremacy groups are the most active at this time, but bomb threats are not uncommon for schools and businesses. Suspicious packages are also not uncommon thus the “If you see something, say something” campaign developed just after 9/11 by New York’s MTA. Knowing what to look for and how to prepare for an explosion makes good sense. According to the FBI, domestic terrorism has become more of a threat than international as of the last few years.
