Computers with IP addresses that can be reached from the internet get tapped by hackers several, if not hundreds or thousands of, times a day. Understanding the many aspects of perimeter security is not for newbies.  Firewalls is only one of many way’s intruders can penetrate a network easily bypassing border defenses and helping themselves to your data.  A smart business owner will know when they are out of their league and when it comes to Perimeter Security, it is best left for the professionals.  A defense-in-depth approach is a powerful tool for defenders when used properly.
