Staples Fire Plan

Only 12% of fires take place in businesses, but of those that do, they cause the most property damage.  Staples took the initiative to post tips for Fire Prevention and Preparedness after realizing that most of their employees perceived Staples as being unprepared for any kind of an emergency, including fires.  Despite having a plan in place, it was not widely known.  By communicating the 4 P’s of fire prevention (plan, procure, practice and prevent) in this communication with employees, Staples was able to change this perception and put their plan into action.
